Marvel Reveals the Death of Ms. Marvel in Amazing Spider-Man #26

This wasn’t enough to stop the damage done, however. As a result, Marvel Comics revealed that Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, will die within the pages of Amazing Spider-Man #26 when it releases on May 31st. In making the announcement, they revealed the release of the one-shot Fallen Hero: The Death of Ms. Marvel.



It’s an ending no fan was expecting! On sale May 31, the highly-anticipated Amazing Spider-Man #26 will see Ms. Marvel make a heroic sacrifice in the ultimate Marvel Comics manner.


In the current Amazing Spider-Man run by Zeb Wells and John Romita, Jr., Kamala Khan works as an intern at  Oscorp. The comic book publisher states that everything that has happened thus far leads to this moment where Kamala to make the ultimate sacrifice to save the entire Marvel Universe. Fallen Friend will be written by G. Willow Wilson (who created Kamala Khan and her beloved alter ego), Saladin Ahmed, and Mark Waid. Humberto Ramos, Takeshi Miyazawa, and Andrea Di Vito.

In their press release, the comic book publisher states that Fallen Friend: Death of Ms. Marvel will show the impact Kamala’s death will have of the Marvel Universe. It will also serve as piece giving honor to the beloved character. Fallen Friend will be a way of remembering the iconic Marvel character.



The Details
