Dark Knights of Steel Collected Edition Announced by DC Comics

With the first three issues all selling out, DC Comics announced that they are packaging Dark Knights of Steel #1-3 in a new collection for those that missed out on their chance at picking up the superhero fantasy series from writer Tom Taylor (Injustice) and artist Yasmine Putri (Nightwing, The Hellblazer). Labeled as Dark Knights of Steel: The Gathering Storm, this first volume of the series will be available at comic book shops everywhere on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

“I couldn’t be happier to hear Dark Knights of Steel is going back to print and so many people are embracing our new DC Universe,” Taylor is quoted as saying. “There are so many twists and turns to come for the El Kingdom, the Bat Prince, the Kingdom of Storms, Supergirl and the Amazons in our epic. The prophecy will come to pass.”

Dark Knights of Steel is an entire retelling of the DC Universe as you know it. Featuring medieval versions of Bruce Wayne, Alfred, Kal-El, Jor-El, Lara, Harley Quinn, Dinah Lance, Dick Grayson and plenty of your favorite heroes and villains from the DC Universe, fans won’t want to miss out on where this story is going.

“It’s hard to overstate my gratitude for all the support Dark Knights of Steel have been getting so far,” Yasmine Putri said. “Stick around and stay tuned, more adventures are coming soon.”

Fans can order Dark Knights of Steel: The Gathering Storm at local comic book shops through Sunday, January 30, 2022. It will be available in-store on March 1, 2022. Issue #4 releases on February 1. Issue #5 of Dark Knights of Steel will be available at local comic book shops everywhere on March 1.
