It’s another week and that means we have another New Comic Book Day. This week’s slate of books is… well… it’s a lot. Last week, DC Comics dominated our list. This week, it’s Image’s turn, with IDW not far behind. And this week’s books have a whole lot going on, including the introduction to a new hero. Excited? So are we.
So without further adieu, check out our comic picks for March 15, 2023 below and visit a comic shop near you.
First up on our list for our comic picks for March 15, 2023 is Superman: Lost #1, a new 10-issue series from the team of Christopher Priest and Carlo Pagulayan. What happens when you return to a home that doesn’t remember you, or you remember them? That’s what happens when Superman returns home from what should have been a routine mission. Christopher Priest brings his unique style to the Man of Steel.
Next up is the second issue of Monarch from Rodney Barnes and Alex Lins. After the surprising ending to the first issue, Travon finds himself aboard an alien vessel. But what do they want with him. Can he ever make his way backs to his friends sheltered inside their high school before they starve to death?
The Massive-Verse continues to expands with No/One #1, a new 10-issue series from Kyle Higgins, Brian Buccellato, and Geraldo Borges. After a series of gruesome murders in the city of Pittsburgh, copycat killers and a dangerous political movement make themselves known. This gives birth to a new vigilante who wants to hold those individuals accountable. But is this vigilante really a hero?
But There’s More…
It’s finally here. BRZRKR #12, the final issue of the series from Keanu Reeves, Matt Kindt, and Ron Garney has finally arrived. B. has been through a lot over his immortal life. But now Caldwell has revealed his master plan for all. Is it actually a challenge B. can endure? Take a look to find out.
And finally, Greg Rucka returns with The Forged #1, a new series at Image Comics. Don’t expect this to be like the Old Guard or Lazarus. This series has fun written all over it. And we are here for it.
As always, check back here next week at the Comic Book Spot for more picks and news.
