We are back and it’s time for the comic picks for March 6, 2024. The year is really moving, but that doesn’t mean we can read our comics. So let’s reveal our latest picks for this upcoming New Comic Book Day!!! We have about double the number of titles from last week. Last week’s titles were dominated by various titles from various indie publishers. This week, however, the Big 2 of Marvel and DC Comics come roaring back to take the overwhelming majority of our top picks, mainly due to several new series. With with that being said, check out our comic picks for March 6, 2024 below and visit a comic shop near you.

Comic Picks for March 6 – Our Top Picks
So to kick things off in our list for our comic picks for March 6, 2024, we have the return of Void Rivals from Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici at Skybound/Image with Void Rivals #7. When we last left Darak and Solia, they had barely escaped to the northern wastelands of Zertonia. But Premier Zalilak is bent on not letting them escape. He’s sending Proximus after them. Needless to say, but the Energon Universe continues to cook with all of the titles under its umbrella..
Next up, we have Red Light #3 from Sarah Cho and Priscilla Petraites over at AWA Studios. I initially picked up this title, because the historian in me sees the phrase “red light” and immediately begin think about the old red light districts of the past. But Lacy’s journey to escape is anything but historic as she and her young friend escaped from the brothel. As we get into this penultimate issue, I have no problem saying that this is one of the best non-Resistance Universe titles coming from AWA.
Then we have The Bat-Man: First Knight #1 from long-time DC Comics creator Dan Jurgens and artist Mike Perkins. It’s no secret that the early issues of Batman were controversial for many reasons, such as a Batman who kills. Now, Dan Jurgens gets the opportunity to re-introduce the Bat-man of the late 1930s to readers young and old. Some gruesome murders have happened in 1939 Gotham City (to the surprise of no one). Yet it seems the city’s new vigilante is already in over his head. I’m excited to read this one.
And Finally (just because)…
When She-Hulk releases, you know it’s an instant addition to our picks or else Theo will not be happy. So we have Sensational She-Hulk #6 from Rainbow Rowell and Andres Genolet over at Marvel Comics. Jen’s been offered a position with the Avengers (a real one this time). But for now, she and Jack of Hearts are taking a little trip together in outer space. Frankly, this could’ve been a Valentine’s Day issue right?.
As always, check back here next week at the Comic Book Spot for more picks & news.
