Theo is back to bring you Season 6 Episode 7 of the Comic Bin Comic Book Podcast. In this episode, Theo sits down with comic book writers Matt Hardy (notto be confused with the wrestler) and Rob Jones as they talk about their mini-series War of the Worlds: Thunder Child. The one-time Kickstarter campaign is now being collected in hardback from Titan Comics and is out on June 2nd at comic shops and traditional book stores. The duo explains how a one-page mention in the H.G.Wells classic (and classic song) brought this story to life.
After that, Theo gives goes to his Indie Spotlight. This episode, he focuses on Noir Is The New Black, Season 2. The anthology series from FairSquare Graphics was just nominated for an Eisner, and the last issue of Season 2 is set to release on Kickstarter. Make sure you support it.
Theo closes out Season 6 Episode 7 by giving his top five books from the past week’s New Comic Book Day (May 20, 2026). There’s a new at this week’s top spot. What can it be? Listen in to find out.
